You know what I’m saying.. for the most part a clean slate along with a good hefty psychedelic bang is the way to go, not stutter stepping your shroom intake.  Exceptions to this would be cacti, aya, things like that.  Acid/shrooms, things like that, you’re stuck pretty much to a one shot window..

You can do whatever but you get what I’m saying right?

Yeah, but sometimes people that have very little experience or none at all probably don't need to hear that a person should "go big or go home" or "double what you think is a good dose", or "I did 5 grams my 1st time and it was the best thing ever" because it might not be the best thing ever for that person considering a high dose. I think it's best to add .5-1 gram at a time up from 1 gram initially and do it over a period of time at least 2 weeks apart to get fully back to baseline. I don't give a single fucking shit about what years of reports and research say. It's my opinion and I stand by it emphatically, period. Every one handles drugs differently and to tell someone to go ahead and do a med to high dose the 1st time or for even the 2nd or 3rd is dangerous info. AGAIN, one can always, but you can't take away.

Yeah I would never recommend 5 grams to a first timer, or someone who hasn't dosed in 6 years (unless that person was extremely well versed in psychedelic usage at some point of his/her life.

Hell even an eighth can put one on their ass

Ow it is definitely possible to redose and trip all over again. I guess the second dose may not be as chemically effective as the first dose but since you are already tripping.

I have def achieved crazy mental states on second doses of mushrooms and LSD

I agree you will probably have to face some demons / personal thoughts.
Why do they call it "golden teacher"?

IMHO:
Assuming they are just normal strength dried cubes...
Eat a gram and a half. On the onset remember how much safer mushrooms are than any other sort of prescription medicine.

Wander around and do what you do. Go outside if you can. The trip will help you decide what to do next. It will speak to you if you listen.

I think my stash has been in storage too long. Dosed 1.5+ a hour ago and don’t feel much. The mind is so powerful. I was overthinking this shit way too hard. I can’t even begin to explain the range of emotions and thoughts I’ve been through just because I simply decided to dose. And they are now all in the past and have no influence on my moment whatsoever yet when I was experiencing them they completely owned me and owned my future.  So I guess even if I don’t end up feeling much from this atleast now I have a gained a little insight into how these thoughts surrounding the fear of tripping are basically useless. They are like the decorative greens chefs put on dinner plates which nobody eats. They are just there. The meal is eaten and enjoyed. The trip is experienced and the thoughts preceding it are arbitrary. Of course they can influence the trip at higher doses but that’s another story.

Didn’t end up feeling much more.  I wish I could dose again today. I’m leaving for a trip across the country later in the week and I was hoping to freshen up my perspective a bit beforehand.

considering making a 3.5-4g tea tonight.  Maybe I could overpower whatever tolerance I have built up.

I hate even thinkin about doing such a thing. It feels so fiendish to me and I've always advised other people against it. still. would be nice to trip before I take my trip.

With the dose you had I would expect the tolerance build to be almost inconsequential.

Hardly fiendish at the levels and ways your talking.

These things should be taken when you feel like they should be taken imo.

I have 3.5 weighed and ready. Only thing is I just ate a decent sized meal so it won’t be on empty stomach. Part of me thinks I should do like 4 or 4.5 even but then again if I don’t have much tolerance that would kick my ass

For me having food in the gut makes it a bit of a crapshoot...not impossible just more difficult to dose where I want to go.

Thpugh tbh if you want a ride and you know its heading in the direction you want commiting to the experience will see you through safely regardless.

Itll take longer to kick in then take longer to end on top of the food.
