Almost certain its contam... Want a second opinion

First time trying a shoebox. The white growth happend overnight. Best to just ditch this? Is it possible to use the container again if i clean it really well?

Yup that's trich..toss or bury it outside..You can reuse the tub, just give it a rinse in the shower with some bleach

You only need to wash the tub out with soap and water like you would for dishes.
