Green / Blue spots in mycellium.

Hi. I bought a growkit the other day and followed the instructions which was to put water in it and then rinse it out. It has been sitting for 1-2 days and i have now just noticed some green/blue spots on the plastic container. Could my mycellium be contaminated?

Your suppose to rehydrate it over night but not for two days
Its a little unlikely that green has sporulated on your substrate after only a couple of days after receiving it. That would imply a badly contaminated substrate from the beginning.
Pics?

I did hydrate it for 12 hours. What i meant is it has been sitting after that for a day or two

I don't see contamination only bruised myc in a few spots But the bag shouldn't be that dry in the inside, how are you fruiting that substrate? Do you have a pic of the whole thing?

i'm just following the instructions. it says leave it after i hydrated it. I had another growkit which i fucked up. (had it too close to a heater). in that one i had a layer of water on the bottom of the bag. i also took advice fron people online (FAE, misting, lighting etc), but i dont know if i should do that this time or just follow the instructions and leave it untouched.

i assume its dry because its only the first day. should i add a small layer of water at the bottom of the bag (the lady at the smartshop told me to do that) or mist with a spray bottle?

I'd cut a handful of 1inch slits in the bag or just poke a dussin small holes here and there for FAE. You shouldn't really need to mist more than a few times a week. Keep updates and we'll follow the progress

Looks like the container has a lid. Ditch that and cut holes in the bag, like Mateah said.

Update: They started to grow. But i only have like 10 pins. One of them is really huge and thick while the other ones are smaller. My question is why is the big one so thick/fat? Do i have to start FAE or misting? Or just do nothing as the instructions of the growbox says? I will upload some pictures later
