No mycelium growth after 8 days

I inoculated 4 1l wbs jars 8 days ago with a spore syringe that I bought in a reliable online shop and there's still no sign of mycelium growth. I keep them at around 20 °C in almost complete darkness. Is this normal or should i worry?
P.S. English is not my mother tongue, please excuse any mistakes on my part

Can take up to 3 weeks for spore to germinate, so I would not worry about that. Colonizing in darkness is updated information tho.
No need to worry, oh also spores to grains is not recommended btw.

you could also try to inoculate a small plate of agar or a form of BRF paste if you don't have access to agar.

Dnt knw bout wbs but i've never had germination faster then 9 days with cakes. In my experience if you inject a shiteload of spore-nut it takes longer. If you shake the jars after you inject it cud take longer.

Now it's been 21 days since I inoculated the jars and there's still no visible mycelium growth (I even checked the inside by shaking them). I also started a LC a week ago and It didn't show any germination either. Could the spore syringe I used be the problem? (I bought it from a company in the Shroomery vendor list)
Here are some pictures

LCs can be hit or miss...your grains may be too dry...I went back to brf for a while at one point cuz I had issues with wbs...try noccing up just 1 of em but put more than just a few drops and put em back...they didnt contaminate so that's at least a plus...

Spores can take 3 weeks or more sometimes to germinate, shaking them again when you didn’t see any growth probably hurt your chances a bit more

What's your LC recipe? It could take awhile for spores to germinate (sometimes 2-3 weeks) spores directly to grain is highly advised against since syringes are inherently dirty, but when I did spores to grain (oats) I got growth in around 2 weeks or so.
Also give them some light, it's beneficial during all stages of growth

First of all thanks for your advise, anyways 1) I hydrated my grains for 24 hours, should be enough right? 2) I'll try to inoculate again one of the jars 3) It's been almost a month :/ 4) I followed this guy's instructions

Hmm, perhaps try a BRF cake just to see if the spores germinate or try some agar or BRF paste and see if they germinate

I'm new to this, but since the quality of the syringe is in question, wouldn't this be a good time for some agar work? A few petri dishes (or pasty plates for a DIY option) would be a good way to determine if the syringe is usable, wouldn't it?

Quite right, that's what I would do. Just remember only a single drop per dish will do. And cool the syringe after flame sterilisation by letting one drop go into your SAB floor. Bear in mind that germination may take a while even in agar. Most likely a week, but sometimes it can take 2-3 weeks from what I have read.

Alright I'll try agar and I'll let you know how it goes
