its the particular kind of Sunni islam that is practiced in Saudi Arabia. It is fundamentalist ultra conservative. Not representative of global Islam.

You can probably find the article called "the wahabisation of sunni islam" its about how Saudi Arabias power (which we have supported and facilitated) has extended the reach and influence of Saudi interpretations. That means when they fund a mosque in a country they can influence the kind of interpretations that are taught. This is an extremely problematic trend. Look at how Egypt and other islamic nations have become more conservative and fundamentalist over recent decades.

We shouldn't support Saudi Arabia as our fucking allies. The one nation that actually had connections with 9/11 conveniently doesn't get invaded whereas so many others do in the name of the war on terror. funny that..

So this is your rise in crime against Muslims?  Broken windows?  That’s not a substantial increase in crime against muslims.

If you actually follow this stuff then you would know that this is the tip of the iceberg. There are many attacks happening all the time but something tells me you have selective vision and perhaps think that if these things aren't international or even national news, that they must not be happening?

I've even had death threats. I had one only yesterday calling me a musrat and saying they would personally find me and behead me. All because I posted an antifascist cartoon on instagram lol. I've also seen plenty of people on social media say they don't give a fuck about 50 muslims being slaughtered. Just because youre oblivious, doesn't mean its not happening every day. People are such tools to be manipulated so easily into unquestioning hate. So many people even on this forum use language i've seen over and over in the NZ shooters manifesto.

So you confirm that because this violence against muslims isnt a bomb (even though there was a foiled bomb threat against a mosque that you conveniently ignored) or a shooting spree (in a country without guns), its therefore its nothing to you? interesting...
