Hello . I wanted to ask you guys about datura ... Why are you all against it ( i saw some old topics ... ) ???
Is it dangerous to our health or what ?
Do smoked daturea leaves give some psychoactive efects ?

You have read all the really bad stories about people that smoke too much PCP and start cutting up their faces and shit? Take that, multiply by 10, and stretch it out so that it lasts for two or three days instead of a couple of hours. Welcome to Datura-land.

Not all of us are against it per say, but if you don't know why most people are against it, then the few of us who are not are probably against YOU doing it. Its the type of thing that even if you are willing to experiment with, you still don't recomend it to others. The reason why I initially tried it was because the idea of having to risk death for an experience turned me on. Keep in mind here that this is poison. Not like alcohol, more like taking rat poison to trip off of. This stuff was used to assasinate people. The effects are not "psychedelic" they are delerium. People run through the streets butt ass naked and get taken to the hospitol and don't know what happened until the next day. There is one acticle about a German kid who chopped off his unit whil under the influence of this stuff. You need to do your homework before you put stuff in your body anyways, but with this stuff, if you don't, it could very well be the last thing that you ever do. You decide.

yeah belladonna isnt something to play with, i personally think its one of the worst excuses for a recreational drug... my brother has worked in our hospital for about 15 years and he has seen so many people die or some close to dying from that shit... one of my friends almost died from it, had his stomach pumped...

The main reason I've always tried to be ooutspoken about it's dangers is that there are alot of
kids reading these forums and those are the type of people that'll wind up dead.
There's always a risk but it can be used in relative safety if you're smart and responsible about it.

Read teh serpent and the rainbow. it talks about zombi making in haiti. Bsically this plant is used to erase people memory, then the people "assimilate" them by telling them what to think and they are "zombis", or working slaves that have been totally mentally worked over.
bad, no. they are very pretty plants. dangerous? in the wrong hands yes.... just remember even touching can cause intoxication as they are topically active, as well as active every other way.
i think they even did a CSI show on it! (i didn't just say that ...)

I don't think theres any problem with smoking it, just DON'T eat it or make an infusion.
Me and my buddies used to take a peice of flower(brugmansia which is like datura, but better i think) about half the size of a human palm and smoke it with some weed for wonderful effects, but after weeks of doing that we all went retarded, could'nt remember things that kinda stuff. So if your gonna do it, smoke a fresh flower mixed with weed and only do it once.
