Idk, jst turns out a little different every time. Im an artist by nature so i dnt fight it. Sometimes it's a little darker/lighter, has some particulate left over from last pour, etc.
Last plates i made i used a half cup more water and as you wud imagine it turned out for softer and took longer to solidify. Transfers are growing like normal though.
But that was my last bit of premixed MEA. Guess i'll try grain soak or even apple juice for nutes nxt. Never seen LME in any stores.
That pic of the myc diggin in isnt a pic of a transfer is it? Jst looks like a fat patch of spores germinating and duking it out.

Haha not trying to shut you down at all dude .. that is how spores look once germinating but just havent seen many cultures do it once they are stable ..
I just pulled a agar pin and it did that on the second transfer but not the first so I dont know what's going on I ordered some new plates and hopefully that will help maybe my lids on the pastys are just too old and let shit get in

Every time you transfer it ages thays why it's good to keep a master slant at an early age ... all my cultures weren't taken care of when I went to prison so things got fucked up ..
So I'm in search of new ones Haha
