I looked at some more mycelium and have a hypothesis/conclusion on what the blobs are. I found a whole bunch of end blobs on another growth (no pics, I was lazy) and they only occur on the thin edge of growth on agar. I believe it's the hyphae interacting with the agar as it's growing. Maybe it's digesting it, indenting it, accumulating water droplets there, or whatever. I don't think it's mold sporangium. This is further evidenced by the lack of spores floating around in the FOV. I bet that observing these blobs will only be observable when looking through agar.

I believe the sample in this thread is Cube myc because transfers directly from this plate already went to 1st flush harvest. The sample I observed yesterday is likely to be cube myc, but unconfirmed. The only time I observe the blobs is on tomentose sections.

Also, I had trouble finding clamp connections on the "blobbed end" sample too. I believe the tomentose growth is more likely to not form clamp connections (I think I read that in Staments). I did, however, find clamp connections in an agar dish that was pinning. So I do know what they look like now...

Anyway, I wanted to just keep this thread complete. I welcome any comments.

Somebody anybody please advise me what is this white on white.  Last run Green Mold started out similar, but that tub was not fully colonized.  I started putting lids on half the day and maybe this is GT mycelium?
