anyone has any suggestions how to birth and avoid contams ? (I know how to birth and all, just wanna see if anyone has any advices)

Now that your substrate is completely colonized by mycelium, it will be much more difficult for any invading competitors to take hold, so you don't have to worry about that so much. I'm not saying sneeze, cough, and let your cat piss in the terrerium, but just generally clean. Wipe down your container with alcohol before putting anything in and a little peroxide in the perlite never hurts...Best of luck!

So just mix the peroxide with the water when I use perlite ?

Ok, I mixed about 2" of perlite with water/peroxide ... then spread it allover the chamber, so its about 2" of perlite and 1" or little less of water .... is that good enough ? or am I supposed to do something some else too ?

My hygrometer shows humidity as HI% ? does that mean 99% or 100% ?

HI% means anything over 90% so your good if your hygrometer works right, i have the same one and it isn't real accurate but gets you in the general area. And your all set now sit back and watch those babies grow
