Fuzzy pins... time to isolate.
    #25942617 - 04/18/19 10:42 PM (5 years, 8 months ago)

Got some fuzzy puns in my shoeboxes on second flush assuming they're toast and ready to get buried.

Harvest bottom ones as i dump.

Substrates been producing small sheooms veils open and everything so it's done for sure.

I see normal and healthy looking pins and then I see new myc regenerating from aborts, from the cut off stems and the other dead/dying fruits, pins, blobs.

Happens more frequently in low FAE settings/high humidity IME

My first time harvesting so I didn't know if the fuzzy pins were normal. So it's good to keep?

Edit
That yellow patch is mycelium leaching the corn color im pretty sure. I dug out one patch to no suprise corn kernel was under it.

Ive got the lid flipped in shoeboxes and i only mist when i see the surface drying up. Idk what the issue is. I didnt dunk between flush 1 and 2 because the sub isn't consolidated.

:lolwut:

What consists the sub of? Volume, ratio? Inoculation method?
Good news is at least no visible contams yet :super:

Coir and verm but where fucked up is not knowing how tf to make a proper ratio so i literally poured one quart each shoebox. Probably like 1:6 or something ridiculous. After full jar colonization (16oz jars 2 to each shoebox) I incubated it after birth with FAE and light cause bod says it's fine and actually helps things along in his tek.

Sweet we don't like visible contams!

Edit: I inoculated with Spore syringe oven method put micropore tape over holes in jar let sit in dark for a week or so
