I have 2qts pan cyan Hawaii at 100% and some pasteurized manure mix. I was thinking of putting this into a 20qt sterility gasket tote. I know they like more fae, so I was thinking about this design.
The holes will be 1in diameter, I’m not sure if a standard six hole will suffice or if I should add the green hole for extra fae. What do you think?

I've grown pans in tubs before but not with much success (handful of fruits). If that gets enough FAE, you would then have to think about how you are going to keep high humidity, rapid surface evaporation and maintain temps around 77-80 degrees.
The temps should be at a point where you are getting a lot of evaporation off of your casing layer. It should actually start to dry out. You compensate for this by misting at first and then hand watering with a syringe once you have your first pins.
It won't be hands off like with a cube mono.

You could possibly hook up a humidifier to it. I know jake has had good luck, he explains more in his Tek about how he does it. I was going to do the same but built a GH instead.

What if I just kept the six holes and no green hole? Maybe that could work, I was even thinking one hole on top on the lid instead.

I would get on the main pan thread and show your idea there. See what others are doing.
How are you going to keep it humid in there and have tons of FAE? Those are the questions you need to ask yourself and figure out a plan for that.

That’s a good question. I was thinking mist the sides if necessary. Good idea I’ll post there, I’ve seen a couple people on here do pan monotubs. I may also have an issue with temps, the ac is around 74-76F and the grow is in the closet with a little fan. Probably too cold for pans? Might get a heatmat, they just make me nervous

You don't heat the sub. The room the pans are in needs to be heated. A heat bulb maybe. If you are growing in a small closet you also have the problem of getting fresh air into there.
