Started coco kit of cubenesis spores. Came with 4 trays and directions were to colonize for 12 days in dark then after switching to fruiting to expect pinning in a month or two. Well at day 12 one tray had more mycellium then the others so i left them for 3 more days. Went to look at them yesterday and i have mushrooms that are 3 inches high on one tray and tons of lil ones in others.. Problem is there mainly concentrated on sides and growing into walls of tubs. So my question is do i leave them in trays and place in bag like it says or remove the ones from trays n place on lid.dont know if they will grow up the walls still as they are formed all around edges under of coco mix. Dont wanna sacrifice yield. Need advice asap please. Mixed this kit 15 days ago. Didnt expect mushrooms this quick.

Pockets of humidity often sit in the gaps between the substrate and the box. Next time consider casing the edges with extra vermiculite to promote central pinning. Pulling these side ones early could damage the yield so the best advice now is to give it the adequate humidity so it doesn't need to look to the edges for the water.
I'd also consider wrapping the sides in a black plastic, mushrooms follow the light as well as gravity during pinning

Fruiting now. Just wondering if leaving in trays will walls will effect yield as so many pinning on bottom and against walls if i pull substrate out of tray and place on flat surface will i get more yield? Or will they find there way to the top regardless??thanks

Ok thanks. I went tray in tub and didnt realize tub was sonewhat translucent. Is 16 days from colonization to mushrooms quick or is that normal?

Would it be worth carefully cutting sides of tray and gently and carefully removing them

People share mixed opinions on pulling out early ones, I think it negatively affects yield. You'll still have a good grow as long as you give it the right amount of misting, otherwise it will keep looking to the sides for water.
PF TEK with a casing layer allows free side pinning and prevents this "aesthetic" problem.
Consider placing the box inside a "humidity chamber". You will still need to mist it when necessary but the chamber will guarantee the centre recieves the humidity it needs.
14-22 days is normal for most.
