How to spawn bacterial jars

So i am going to spawn these jars.

There are 14 total.

Some are bacterial and then some are maybe less bacterial but I also suspect are not the cleanest.



So I have 2 bricks of coir in a cooler with just boiled water.

They will be ready in the morning.

I am either going to spawn to 2 66qt (about 24in x 16in) tubs, or i'm considering just throwing the entire mix, 14 jars, and 2 bricks of coir with 3-5qt verm into 1, 105qt tub measuring 32 in. by 20 in.

Two tubs will offer a bit more surface area.

What do you guys think? What would you do?

Honestly if you think some of its good and some is not than I would vote to  not mix them. The smaller the container the better. I would personally grab some shoeboxes and do 1 jar per box.  I understand needing to use what you got tho so at least break it up between the 2 and put your best jars together. Good luck.

I too would shoebox.. Then you can fruit and clone to agar then grow that out to clean up the tams. Good vibes to you and your grow. 😎👍

I'd spawn each one to a bag. Works really well for bacterial jars. If one
contams you still have the other bags plus they make their own FCs. Saves
tub space :shrug:

I don’t think u can save much more room then using shoeboxes :shrug: Iv scene TCs stack them 5 high and hey fruited fine

Sounds like work compared to doing one or two bigger tubs

I am so lazy

So you guys are thinking better yield from 14 boxes vs one or two monos ?

I have like 50 shoeboxes already sitting around so that's not an issue

Also have 28 jars behind these that all look clean that will be ready to spawn soon

7 are ready now :awesomenod:

I fucking hate a bunch of little tubs but if u have spawn your not sure about I’d still shoebox them:shrug: atleast you have some good spawn on the way:thumbup:

What I mean by tub space is tubs that can be used for better spawn are
available to you if you use bags instead of the tubs. Either way works

For questionable jars I just top fruit them. Seems like they give a couple fruits before death more often than if I broke them out and made them try to recover & colonize again while bacterial. Little Casing and a bag and leave it be. Saves a tub and space to.

I'm stoked

I've never spawned shoeboxes this small so I'm excited for the results

I've also never tried no top layer and I have two with no top layer to try

Also most of these jars didn't even seem that dirty. I feel like I've spawned worse Jars with decent results so I'm excited to see hoe these perform

I'll try not to get my hopes up. I ran out of verm so they're actually a bit on the wet side i believe. Hoping it doesn't fuck me

I will be spawning 7 jars to a mono unmodified tomorrow

The rest of my 21 jars will be ready within a week, good times, good times

I'll have to try some more out without top layers and see hoe the performance goes.

This is rhe first time I've ever tried without.

I'm always too worried about risking it but soon i shoukd have more shit where i can play a bit without too much worry about results

You find the pinset is more or less the same?

Pin sets are as good as the spawn. Mixing evenly colonizes faster and pins sooner.

So the boxes I didn't use a top layer for definitely pinned way later and also weaker :shrug:
