OK, time to ask the pros and humble myself. Here's my GH:

I have my inkbirds set to 75f for temp and 85%RH (tends to sit around 93%). I see everyone talking about how my 1L humidifier should run out of water basically daily. It lasts a fucking week. It doesn't kick on often. Is something up here? Where are people keeping their humidity sensors? I have the bottom of my GH just open (no taping it up or anything).

Reasons I'm worried: if you look I'm "open air" fruiting cubes to sort of test this out, and all fruits that looked good going in started to shrivel almost in this setup. Furry parts at the bottom of the stipe went from bright white to a little yellow-ish and not fuzzy any more. Perhaps cubes just hate this, but everything I've read said they should do fine with these conditions.

Where am I going wrong if I am? What more info do you need from me to help diagnose? I'm going to put pans on agar again (hoperfully successfully this year) and want to be ready for this shit.

Can't seem to find trays at HD with a lid unless they're the individual seed starter ones

well the way I have mine set up is a little different from Mary asura did you read my tek? (Red link in sig) I go into detail of how my air handling system works. I’m pretty sure that Mary and asura  also have a air handling system of sorts although they do not cycle

I did read yours. I was already a bit too deep into my project to modify it to fit your tek (I'd been buying/saving up for parts for a few months when I failed at Pans last). How do you get your fan to only go on for 45 sec/1min? How often does it do that?

Sorry for playing dumb here, do Mary/Asura have tek writeups?

Thanks for the tray info all.

Shaper I ordered a 100 cfm 4" round in line fan from HD because it came with a cord. Bathroom fans were a little more after you buy a cord. Havent decided if im going to filter it yet.

This is the fan I use, it is plenty strong.

https://www.amazon.ca/AC-Infinity-Cooling-Ventilation-Projects/dp/B009OWRMZ6/ref=sr_1_fkmrnull_1?keywords=1238+muffin+fan&qid=1555366544&s=gateway&sr=8-1-fkmrnull

I just need a cycle timer now.  It’s working going on for 15 minutes every 90 minutes but dries the pans a bit too much

I would do smaller intervals try 1 min on 3 min off something where your keeping the air moving without keeping your tent super dry for extended periods.

Well after I made that last post I went onto amazon and ordered a new timer . The timer I have is a pin one and 15 minutes is minimum.
When I get it, I’ll program it that way, thanks!

Ok what is everyone working on?!

I am waiting for my 2nd attempt at bisporus to pin. It was due today (10 days). Nothing.

I have 2 bags of Pan Hawaiian growing out and that should be ready to put to trays in 5 days.

Then it's time to clean the FC.

Hey girl. As an electrician I have to say that having a light bulb like it looks like you have there in such high RH is a big No No. You might be fine for years but you might also have a fire, so please put it outside the GH. Im very new also but Im pretty sure they will still get enough light.

Oh and if you can how come you have your RH at around 85-93 and not try for a vi higher? Not nessesary?

i just put some pan cy agar to oats last week. some from a print marked wild, some others from the aussie you gave out. my cultures aren't fast, but they're each about the same and it feels like i been transferring forever. got some hpoo aging in the yard, gearing up for a fight.

i know you're into lc > sterile sub bags. maybe i'll get there one day, depending on how these pan out, pun absolutely intended.

apart from that, wild cubes spawned in shoeboxes testing how long cooked grain jars keep on the shelf, a whole bunch of rw, another galindoi tray just cased, four more jars waiting to spawn, and my first non active medicinal project beginning in some red reishi growing out on agar.  ... shit typing all that out, it's almost like i know what i'm doing. believe me, i don't.

I have Hawaiians going still - but I haven't been able to get them to fruit yet. Its been a steep learning curve. I've been propagating the same myc for months and now I think its starting to age. Its just slowing way down both in LC and after I innoc to the substrate. So I'm starting over with newly germinated myc. Man if you can get your pan-HI to fruit I will be impressed. It has been a real struggle for me. I have a couple other var's on deck if this last run fails.
