I liked this one too. the ending was pretty unsatisfying tho huh. subverted expectations are nice every once in awhile I guess. I should probably watch it again. I feel like the message of it if there was one may have went over my head

anyone watch AFTER LIFE on netflix? its a series, not a movie, with 6 episodes.

gets a 10/10 from me. very relatable imo

I took a break after 3/4 episodes. ricky gervais character's ongoing self righteous pity party was starting to annoy me. kept on waiting for the beginnings of character arc that never happened

The Thin Red Line is great. Saving Private Ryan sucks. The graveyard scenes alone would almost tank it if the rest were great. The rest sucks too though. That SPR won anything over TRL is absurd.

This is the End (2013) - 7/10
Knew nothing about the film or what to expect but with Seth Rogan in it assumed it was a comedy. Bit of a slow starter but found it pretty funny and mostly enjoyed it.

The Exorcist (Director's Cut)

10/10

Truly a classic. I had not seen the director's cut before, and it mainly consisted of longer scenes at the end, during the exorcism. I am not really for or against these extra scenes, so the theatrical edit really does no harm. This is one of my favorite movies, probably because it gets one's attention so dramatically, and also because I love themes of the the supernatural in movies. It's one of those movies that never seems to get old, on any re-watch. If you haven't seen it, do.

Barton Fink (10/10)

have had this sitting on my thumb drive for months, and last nite was the first nite in a while i felt like sitting down and committing to a movie i hadn't seen before.

Excellent all-around.  Seems like there is a lot going on below the surface, but i haven't fully dwelled on it yet.

The Sisters Brothers - 7/10
Enjoyed this a fair bit, probably the best performance I've seen John C. Reilly give and Joachim Phoenix is his usual intense self. Bit slow at first, but the occasional burst of gun fight and other brutality liven things up. The ending falls a tiny bit flat though.

The Void 7/10 I guess. The visuals in this horror movie were amazing, practical effects really need to make a comeback. I like a bit of mystery in my movies, but there was just too much mystery in this one, it bugs me when I can't even make up my own theory because of lack of details.

Cam 2/10

I googled a list of best Netflix horrors and this was on there for some reason, I should've known this was going to be trash. The only redeeming factor I feel most would find in this is all the tits. This movie is likely only scary if you are a cam whore.

Skullheadface 6/10

The kind of mind-numbing stupidity that is self-aware. Genuinely funny, but with too too much padding. RIP Oderus

Watched a lot of OA, this out of fun and not detoxing, and well done.  Welcome to your future M's!  Though it is going to be a lot shittier but always hope in A.I. and computer programing.  Quantum computing.  Now that is something.

But some of you give me hope.  Hope is a fucked up thing meant for the future and relying on others.  No, maybe faith in the non-religious sense that some may think for themselves.

Watched Baywatch. Was a bit high and have NEVER seen a bad movie with Dwayne Johnston in it.

It was self aware, poked fun at its self and was better than expected.

I really enjoyed this movie. So creative and strange. One of the strangest movies Ive ever seen. A mind trip for sure. Also darker than I was expecting. Great movie overall.
