Went out to one of my favorite spots today. I sprayed a bunch of spore water around this spot last fall hoping something would come of it. Looks like it worked! nice little fruiting of some ovoids!! This is a huge area and i sprayed it everywhere so hopefully more patches pop up in the next couple weeks! Ill make sure to keep you all updated!

Finally spring in Skagit area! Didn't expect ovoids in the perennial planter, although I've been trying to get cyans to fruit from and finally last fall it produced allenii lol! Everything got fed fresh alder and maple last year.

Edited two posts into one:
When my health failed me, I forgot about my planters. Just uncovered all the leaves and stuff. Figured everything died like half my plants did.
I know it's not a big deal to you mushroom wizards but it is to me. After three years of throwing matures and butts, it finally paid off. There's a wad of myc on top the size of a coffee pot holding all my plants together. I could've just emptied the grain bags into it but where's the fun in that!
South Central Valley.
My fly-ass Damascus steel mushroom knife. It came in the mail two days after I went into the hospital. I finally get to use it!

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll check it out next week.
I'm stuck doing taxes and packaging spore orders and have foraging to do tomorrow. Morels and oysters. Got a few orders to fulfill.
Was just farting around cleaning the leaves off so the flowers could get rain. Found those little guys where the sun was poking in. Hopefully they'll take off!

Found two morel in the coast range yesterday, tons of gyromitra. Felt a little early, is pelliculosa Just a fall fruiting species?

These ovoids appear to be growing having been inoculated by the person posting. That’s amazing. I need to look into that. I get the feeling they are difficult to find growing naturally, meaning without human intervention.
I have found edible mushrooms in my area (SW Washington), morels and oysters and from now on will be looking for the magical kind when hunting. So, there’s hope.

Found in Seattle just now. Unfortunately, a few areas were recently mowed so some have been destroyed, but mycelium still looks healthy so they should come back.
