Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out to smoke these ribs. Going good so far, but it's hard to regulate the temperature. Should be worth it. Also watching netflix and news on youtube.

I have friends coming over later to hopefully enjoy some ribs and bourbon or whatever they drink. I'm drinking bourbon tonight!

Need more coffee now

What does that mean, LOL? Pineapple Express like as in cannabis? I wish I could smoke it with cannabis, but I'm not a billionaire.

I'm using charcoal briquettes and apple wood. I think I got the wrong type of charcoal because it burns really fast.

Ha, Now I know not to get charcoal anymore. I think the pro's use lump coal and wood. I just picked up this smoker yesterday as an impulse buy and I'm learning as I go.

I'm trying the 3-2-1 method.
Smoke for 3 hours with dry rub

Wrap in foil for 2 hours with honey, brown sugar/spice mix, apple juice, and butter

Then 1 hour unwrapped in the smoker

It could have been worse. Started out by missing an alarm to wake up early to be driven to the airport so I didn't have much time to make coffee and finish packing. Then, on the way to the airport I get an email saying my flight is delayed by an hour. Cool, less stress about time, OK.

I get through security check point with three grams of concentrate and a distillate cart and battery, no worries there, gravy boat.

Sitting at the gate I watch as the delayed boarding time comes and goes, so I check my email again and see that once again my flight has been delayed another 90 minutes. Fine.

I walk around, find a bathroom and puff on a vape because otherwise I would have had to gone outside. Come back and decide to grab a snack. I pick up what was labeled chocolate covered espresso beans and find out they were chocolate covered popcorn. Instead of taking them back and getting beans, I ate half the bag and tossed the rest, as my new boarding time was approaching and didn't want to carry an opened bag of chocolate covered popcorn.

Get boarded and sat on the runway for maybe 20 minutes before takeoff. 30 minutes into the flight, captain comes on saying there's shit in Chicago and we have to slow down. Another 45 goes by and he says we're told to slow down again. Almost there, captain says we're beginning landing patterns. . . Redirected to St. Louis.

Get to St. Louis airport and have to sit on the plane for an hour because there were 4 other flights that were redirected to St. Louis from Chicago and they were overwhelmed. Finally get off the plane and struggle to get any solid answer as to if I can get my checked luggage or not. Stand around, stand around, step out to vape, stand around.

3:30 rolls around and they get on intercom and say my flights have been cancelled and my bags will be released, otherwise they would have gone to Chicago tomorrow morning, or some stupid bullshit.

Grab my bag and hop on a shuttle to a rent a car spot, where 80 other people were already waiting in line, with 2 people behind the counter.

After about an hour waiting in line for a car, I get one and continue on to my final destination. The 2.5 hour drive was nice, no traffic and got to see a nice sunset.

Get to the hotel I'm supposed to check in to and find that the room isn't under my or my dads name. I didn't want to assume it was under his attorney's, but it was.

Go to check in and I have to give my CC to put on file, which worries me because these rooms are like $240/night and I'm here for a week. I was told his attorney will cover all expenses, and I trust I'll be compensated, just a little worried is all.

Other than that, good.

No one got hurt, that I saw anyway.

Holy fucking shit, that was quite the read. Like that could actually be a genuine short story, you should consider writing creatively if you aren't already. It just felt so human, and told so much about you while also leaving so much unknown. Seriously, that was better than a lot of the shit they made me read in high school.

But anyway, I'm sorry you got so much shit going on in your life right now.

I had a day off today, slept in till 7;30..
Which is a pretty decent sleep in for me because I'm up everyday at 5 for work.

Stopped in at work quick to check on things and my coworkers (new guy working)

Took the dog to the beach, had the place to ourselves, we didn't see a single person. Once summer is here there will be people everywhere.
Played fetch, watched the dog swim after seals and they were swimming circles around him lol

Got home, cleaned up my down stairs living area. Started some laundry.
Made a pizza for lunch, drank some coconut water and watched letterkenny (best show ever made)

Now I'm looking for interesting discussions on shroomery. :bongload:

I've been looking for work but haven't been able to find jack shit so I took up a day labor job for the week and holy fuck is my body sore!

I wish. That job would be much easier than mine. I don't know what it pays though. Probably pretty good. I'm an electrician. People already pay a lot of money for me to come out to their house so they usually aren't willing to shell out more cash.

Problem is Ythan and Geokills are very involved with their offline lives and I'm very preoccupied by offline & online life in my own way.

I have never in my life taken any meds for anything and including drugs that shit always amused me an I shall change my emotion to that.
