Koods read the guardian article, it’s a good one by Thomas Frank about what we learned from the podesta emails. I promise none of it has to do with pizzagate of pedophile dungeons.

I'm upset that it was even considered by the United States.  That doesn't disturb you?

That adds the US as a legitimate suspect in international poisoning cases.

It’s all very fascinating. I’m sure your private conversations are as well. No illegal or unethical behavior, except for the hacks themselves.

Interesting take on not using poison

I’m sure they decided that all the chores would kill him eventually. I hear they talked about replacing his Palmolive with a low grade dish detergent and so his hands would get chaffed washing dishes.

I think Julian Assange is a hero

He was given classified documents and published them, which is not illegal. Members of the press could also be charged under the espionage act for the same "crime"

Assange revealed what was going on behind the scenes, which if anyone read the cables (that's not illegal btw, thanks cnn) was corruption.

Assange was well liked during Obama years. Just because he revealed information, that makes him bad? I don't understand why anyone hates him.

If any one of you were held in solitary confinement / terrible conditions, I think you would want support from others...especially if all you did was do groundbreakingly good journalism.

No one remembers the Pentagon papers. Oh well.

I am glad he is not being extradited, and I hope changes are dropped.

Many a bizarre people think he hacked Russia or works for them or something...right...I would need evidence of that. To my knowledge he is just interested in exposing corruption, and no one was exposing corruption in the US

People randomly starting to hate Assange helped Trump win in 2016 and if you go after Assange and free press, you will get a worse version of Trump in 2024, because Trump likes authoritarianism. Everyone is cheering for this guy to go to the electric chair and they don't know they could be next. With the NDAA signed into law, now anyone can be a "terrorist". Have we learned nothing? If you go after independent press you might as well run cover for the mainstream outlets, or be a hack, and I don't know of any person who actually watches the "news" where they sniff chemically bombed backpacks, show an elaborate cross section of bin Laden's secret fortress that didn't exist, or how they lied to the public to get us into the Iraq war, which has no purpose....or countless other examples.

Idk I guess I've done enough psychedelics because doing too many seems to lend someone to want to prosecute an individual, which if successful, sets the precedent to be able to arrest anyone.

Just seems like most people do not like him. Still though, being charged under the espionage act, which is ridiculous.

Incorrect.  Manning already had access to the documents.  Assange simply tried to help Manning log into the DoD computers using a different username so that she could maintain her anonymity.

Manning was stealing information. Assange was helping him do so without getting caught. If you're going to rob a liquor store, and I buy you a ski mask to help you mask your identity, I'm as guilty as you are of robbery.
