At least the British court confirmed what a lot of us knew for at least a decade. Assange is mentally ill.

A big difference in a court of law maybe, the net result is the same. Some of the biggest stories in the “legitimate public interest” in our history have been stolen documents published by the media.

I think if I had to sit inside the same building for years and years I’d probably go insane too. But yeah, good on the UK for not extraditing a mentally ill man to the US for execution, lord knows we’ve set that precedent.

Yes, a UN expert on torture said Assange was subject to psychological torture.  What a great system we have in the West that makes people mentally ill.

Or maybe koods thinks the US government throws the kitchen sink at whistleblowers (exposing criminal activity) because they really care about the rule of law. :shrug:

What was the legitimate public interest of podesta’s emails? The only thing to come out of them were fucked up conspiracy theories.
