Tripping at a Renaissance Festival?

There's a Renaissance Festival coming up, and my husband and I were thinking about taking a low dose (1.50-2.00g) of shrooms for the occasion. What do you think?
For anyone who hasn't been to one, there's alot of people walking around in costume, amazing crafts and artwork, and pretty music.

I think it would be a great experience and would help you meld into the whole theme quite nicely

I thought of that last week cause there's one later in the year here. Let us know how it is if you decide to go.

It's funny you bring this up, cause I had a conversation about it not too long ago. We were talking about time machines, and somehow we decided the closest thing to a time machine would be tripping at a Renaissance festival......you should try it, great idea.

Cool...what dose do you think would be good for a setting like this? 2g's or lower? (or higher?) What size dose would you take? I've never tripped in public before so I'm leaning towards lower...but I want to hear what you guys think.

Do it. I did. It was the best time of my life. Spent three days at a Ren-fair. I felt like a time traveler. If you have a chance, go when it is raining. All the mud and muck makes it more real. Stick with a lower dose. At least for the first few hours.

I'd say take a not-too high dose, but not-too small either.
And be careful to stay away from the jousting competition!

I'd probably take 3 to 4 grams, but we all like different levels.
I love Renaissance fairs man, they're like a trip by themselves. I've been going to them for years, I was thinking before of taking shrooms before going into one of the bigger ones. It'd be quite awesome, as my trips are fantasy like already. Doing it around a bunch of wizards and swords and knights would be even more crazy realistic.

Myself, I generally take about 2g when tripping in public... anything more and I start to zone out.
My next time tripping in a very public setting shall be a July performance of Cirque De Soliel that is coming to my city. I'm REALLY looking forward to that, as tripping and watching Cirque on TV has always been fun

That is such an awesome idea. I'm also a huge fan of anything relating to Medieval Fantasy, whether it be RPGs(D&D), Lord of the Rings, or a Ren Faire.
As a matter of fact I bought my first water pipe from the New York Ren Faire in Sterling Forest over the summer.
Go for it, ShroomNoob03

They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion. -Carl Sagan

renaissance fair (crosby/mcguinn)
i think that maybe i'm dreaming
i smell cinnamon and spices i hear music everywhere all around kaleidoscope of color
i think that maybe i'm dreaming
maids pass gracefully in laughter wine colored flowers in their hair last call from lands i've never been to
i think that maybe i'm dreaming
some flash on a soda prism bright jewels on the ladies flashing eyes catch on a shiny prism
hear ye the crying of the vendors fruit for sale wax candles for to burn fires flare soon it will be nightfall
i think that maybe i'm dreaming i think that maybe i'm dreaming i think that maybe i'm dreaming

Yeah, guys, I can't WAIT to do this!! There is a Ren fair I'm going to in May, and one I'm going to in October. The one in May is sort of kiddie and child oriented, so I think I'm going to wait to do it at the October Ren fair.
It will be awesome. The night before, everyone gets to this HUGE campsite...thousands of people just camping out and having fun. And everyone is in such a state of intoxication and comraderie...it's like everyone is friends. AT midnight they have these gigantic bonfires, bellydancers and drums and people walking around in costume blowing fire into the air...*happy sigh* And then, the fair the next day is fantastic.
So I think the experience will be more rewarding if I go to the Oct. Ren fair. I really can't wait though!
