hi JOC. What are the different colors in the led strips for? Purple, red blue. Do you use them all on occasion or just full white?

Your cult pics of the day are always awesome dude. I was always put off by the space requirements as most of my extra cult space is being used on a couple of grow tents for some plants and the tub system is the perfect mad scientist solution. Definitely want to give it a go. I have a pan cyan print that's been waiting to get germed for a while now. Looking forward to more pics of the final design!
By "up to 6 116qt" I'm assuming this will work with a smaller number of smaller tubs? I'm envisioning 4 60qts to start with to try to get a feel for it. I definitely want to go nuts with it when I have the space

joc do you use filter bags for pasteurization? and then you spawn pasteurized sub and colonized grain to trays in open air right?

No I Use jumbo 2.5 gal ziplock bags for the electronic cooker. Line the pot load it pack it down add water until it cover then I will use a few jar lids on top the bag so when I put the lid on it submerges the entire bag

I have to make mine a little wetter when I pasteurize to get the temp right all the way through.

That’s why I run mine overnight I just cram as much as I can in there and as long as it submerged by the time 16 hours is up it’s fully pasteurized

ya i have done that before too but with mixed results. but it was prolly more due to the shit slow cooker i had. i just prefer my usual method so i just stick with it cuz im totally confident in my consistantcy and thats all that matters. i believe everyone should use whatever method they are most comforatble and get the best results with. just like lots of other things in life there is always more than one way to achieve the same end result. and as long as that end result is what u desire thats all that matters👍

Volume however as my material changes I may tweak it a little bit but that’s just to give you a ballpark idea if my pool is more dense than I may cut in more straw to soften it up, But yeah basically if I take a 5 gallon bucket and fill it up about a third with manure then add chop straw till it’s 3/4 of the way full mix it up really well add a little bit of vermiculite about a quart jar worth mix it again then add water to bring to field capacity. If my manure is really light and fluffy I may go a little heavier with it but I don’t have any hard evidence that doing so increases your yield

Jake is the "no need to prehydrate" straw direction still valid? Have you encountered any contamination issues by this method instead of hydrating it beforehand?

Yeah I never pre-hydrate my straw. I mix all my stuff together dry then hydrate. perhaps it’s because of my long pasteurization time which gives the Straw ample time to take on the water it needs

Hey, I've been on the other threads but currently working on your tek. Are you still running sterile? Have you noticed a difference much yet? If you're still running sterile do you colonize in bag and break up lay out and have them recover? I have a bag of millet I want to spawn via your tek but it surprised me and will be ready tomorrow. Can I let them sit for the 5 days for the pasteurized sub or should I run them sterile that i can have ready tomorrow morning? I know its said momentum is key and I dont want to run into the same issue I had with being off time with cordys. On a side note is it worth going g2g?
