Idk about them obtaining any of our trips, but i do believe they have a higher conscious to understand us enough and connect with ESP?

I believe cats have psychic abilities, such as being empthatic. Probably one of the reasons why the Ancient Egyptians loved them so much.

Cats can also pick up on ghosts but thats another discussion :lol:

I was just talking about this in another thread!  I have been exploring a theory.  Maybe a couple different theories.  I dont know how onboard I am but the parts fit.

Seems to me, alternate universes may operate closer than we believe.  I used to picture alternate universes far far away, but ive seen some theories that different universes simply operate at a different frequency, and like a dog whistle that we can't hear, but the sound is still there, it's entirely possible that alternate realities, or even an expansion of our current reality exists at a frequency our brain "filters out".  Taking psychadelics allows our brain to operate at this wider frequency band which allows humans to tap into some strange experiences like synisthesia and some type of telepathy maybe even?

I think cats always have the ability to operate in a wider frequency band. I think they choose to operate at humans typical frequency when interacting with us.  But I also think they can pick up on a human operating in a larger frequency band and choose to operate in those frequencies when we do it around them. That's why they seem like they're tripping when we are tripping.  I think its more than just perception because they actually do things that are abnormal, and when looking back with a sober mind at the actions of a cat you see every day, you can identify abnormal behavior

Its pretty well known that ancient Egyptians used psychs.  I think the cats and potentially more enlightened Egyptians were able to connect on a different level when they are under the influence of these molecules.  This relationship has caused the Egyptians to look at the cats with a deep respect as an enlightened species and potentially a source of timeless wisdom.

My girlfriend and I have talked about this and she says "cats are always half in, half out".  Which seems to me the most effective "short answer" to this topic there is.

Cats have the strange ability to navigate using the electro-magnetic field of Earth. Thats why if u strap magnets to a cat, they get confused.

Perhaps, this ability is part of the reason why cats can pick up on our brain waves, because our minds use electro-chemical processes that create consciousness.

Years ago my friends cat wouldn't talk to me unless I was tripping. Then it wouldn't leave me alone, purring and trying to get on my lap. We did loads of different drugs all the time back in those days so it wasn't like we were suddenly acting weird, we were always acting weird.

Somehow it could just tell.  :awesome:

Kinda just one of those things at the time, when most everything was quite peculiar another peculiar thing was just a source of amusement. He'd also sit on bum with his back legs straight out and his tail between his front legs, watching us.
My friends other cat used to drink our coffee as well if we didn't watch it. Would dip it's paw in and then lick it, until the cup was finished. Cheeky.

The first trip I did, I was curled up on the sofa with one of my cats. I swear he showed me a past life, or an alternative universe or something. He is the only male in a house of all female pets plus me, and he's also the eldest. I expect too much of him and he feels this responsibility but doesn't feel equipped to take it on for whatever reason. He showed me himself as a prince in Austria (he was born in Austria) and he was at a formal ball where I was also present, but I also looked different. At one point in this revelation, I flicked my hair at him in a really dismissive fashion and he was hurt. He said I flick my hair at him like that. I've never been aware of doing this, but since the trip, I've noticed that I do do it every once in a while. He told me that I'm too hard on him and that I must be more gentle and understanding and not shout at him when he gets it all wrong. It was so deep and heartfelt, it really made me cry. I see him as my right hand man, and he and I together are responsible for making sure the others behave themselves and are okay. Really weird but so moving and a really nice first trip.

No, that's really cruel. Mushrooms of all kinds are toxic to cats. They don't need to eat mushrooms to join us on our voyages. My boy was just curled up in my arms.

Yea, it's eerie how they get soo happy and start purring. They want to be near you and you just know that she/he knows something. I don't even know where to begin when figuring out how that is.

When I first really got into LSD I was with a ex partner. We did four hits One night at my parents place when no one was home. They had three cats at the time. When we really started peeking the cats could feel our high.

I would run my hand over their back without even touching them and hairs would stand on end. It was like the energy from my hand was causing their hairs to stand up. My dad had a fat male cat. He was laying on his back looking at me. I would say “highfive” and he would raise his hand. I would touch his hand and he’d bring it back down. I’d say “highfive” again and the same would happen.

I came to the conclusion that cats are hyper sensitive to energy. Like a dog being physically protective of its owners, cats are the protectors of the energetic/spiritual world. No wonder ancient Egyptians worshiped cats.

I will try it too, when its just me and my cat at home.

I definitely believe in the energy aspect madhatter. Cats are also sensitive to paranormal things like ghosts and hauntings. I bet its related to that.

My cat has always been my DMT trip sitter, no questions asked.

He resides on the bed. Virtually all day, unless he's eating or perched on the windowsill, he's lounging on our nice cozy mattress.

When I break out the vapor genie though... things change. Without fail he comes over to the couch, and lays down alongside my leg. He just spends the duration of my trip with that odd eyes half open half-closed look, purring lightly next to me.

This is him after I came down from a DMT breakthrough:


Almost never comes to sit next to me on the couch, except when I'm tripping. I'm guessing somehow he can smell the anxiety hormones or something... who knows

He's my furry buddha.

Arthritis has been trying to cripple him in recent times, but CBD isolate and high quality fish oil has been keeping him up to his his usual cat stuff  :carlton:

Right! I was convinced I’d dropped a few while weighing out one time. After a while my cat was a dead weight on my lap with pupils bigger than mine. Granted cats’ pupils dilate for many reasons but still to this day I’m convinced he was tripping balls! Got to a stage I couldn’t even make eye contact with him..
