yeah i have in absentia. its all right though theyre a bit, well, i dont want to say emoish, but thats the best word that comes to my mind. though they produced an opeth record i think so theyre fine by me.

i havent heard absentia... so i cant comment on it. but the ones i listed are not "emo" at all.. i guess you could call it psychedelic progressive rock.. if you really wanted to put a label on it

Reminds me of a mix between Modern Prog rock and 70's harmony. No one really does harmony like that anymore, sorta CSNY/Eagles style harmony. 

Yeah, In Absentia is a tight album.

NICE, lots of previously unmentioned obscure bands hitting these boards... keep it up! :thumbup:
There's not too much better than discovering new music.
