I need to know, not whether it produces estrogen, but will it WORK?

Water bottle in pc. Could you pc them to make spawn grains. Yes I’m aware the mushrooms would be estrogen mutants but Idc about that because I’m a freak.

And they would have tyvek tops or something wouldn’t be worried about exploding due to lack of ge

Ufookinwotm8?  So if I'm interpreting this correctly, you want to prepare grain for spawn in polycarbonate water bottles in hopes of leeching BPA into the grain to grow 'estrogen mutants'?  I don't know much about chemistry or mycology or endocrinology, but I don't think that's going to work homie.

Don't listen to them it sounds like a great idea. May I suggest ordering progesterone as well so the mycelium goes through healthy hormonal cycles. 😏

These are the plastics you can put into a PC:

  • E-CTFE - Ethylene ChloroTriFluoroEthylene or Halar
  • ETFE - Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene
  • FEP - Fluorinated ethylene propylene
  • PC - Polycarbonate (No longer than 20 minutes)
  • PFA - Perfluoroalkoxy alkanes
  • PMP/TPX - Polymethylpentene
  • PP - Polypropylene
  • PTFE - Polytetrafluoroethylene or Teflon


Any other plastic will warp.

No plants or fungus have these steroid hormones such as testosterone, estrogen and progesterone.

Cholesterol is another steroid. Chips company advertising ''No cholesterol'' on their bags should be saying ''No cholesterol, because only animals produce steroids and chips ain't howling''
