Alcohol becomes really euphoric when you're on a diet, I never paid much attention to alcohol until I went on a diet, I became hooked, since then I'm trying to stop drinking.

I used to enjoy drinking on an empty stomach, made the booze hit hard and heavy.
Have never heard anything similar to the OP though.

It becomes an vicious circle that plays on depressive traits. There's one sure way to stop. Just don't drink.
A few tips.
"Trying to stop" is not trying to stop. As the great Yoda said, "Do or do not, there is no try."
Don't even think about alcohol, reject the thought and think about something else.
Delay urges, they pass quickly. Reward yourself other ways. Even if you end up with every playstation game ever made and pile of psychedelic literature and books that will take you 10 years to work through... at least you still have something. It won't be only regret.
Another tool you can use: Extract some harmalas and dose every evening. Sensitivity will build up soon enough and you'll only need a small dose to get in a light psychedelic headspace. The stuff will heal your mind and not damage your body. Not addictive either.

I found this nifty beer that's like 14% alchohol in tall boy form and now I can actually just drink one beer!

I like alcohol sometimes, but I don't think I have ever had euphoria from it. Sometimes I eat healthy and other times I don't. I've never noticed that it affected my drunk.

kratom killed all euphoria of alcohol for me, trying to get a boring drunk just seems like work to me now

I stopped drinking as much after I started taking kratom. It's not something I set out to do it. I guess kratom just diminished whatever feeling made me want to drink and I got older. As most people get older I think drinking becomes less enjoyable for them.
