My cousin has chrones disease and I'm trying to find a way to help him

I've slightly heard rumbles over the internet thst cannabis and/or CBD COULD help with chrones. Does anyone know any concoctions or just any single thing I can give him to help him? He's like my brother and it's really bothering him. He can't eat anything he likes and it's just a mess


Anyone have any ideas?

I have a friend who uses kratom to treat her Crohn’s disease, and she says it helps a lot.  Kratom is very very subjective though, and may or may not help your cousin.

Edit: if you google “crohn’s disease + kratom” or something similar, there’s a lot of info about it.  I didn’t sift through it to see if it’s good info or not.

The doctors told my wife she had chrones, ended up being celiacs. 

Go gluten free.  It can’t hurt to try

I had a different autoimmune disease and hot baths helped with pain but only for a short time after. CBD is anti-inflammatory so I mean, worth a shot.

chronic diseases suck for everyone involved, sorry

Best Cbd I’ve used is actual flower from tweedlefarms.com really helps my mother is 65 and deals with quite a lot of health problems and is only against using marijuana because we live in Alabama and it is against the law. But she gladly smokes the cbd flower cause it is totally legal as of December 2018 once Chester signed the farm bill.

I have been on a Gluten free rant here today.

Also, avoid roundup. Its fucking in everything. Gluten isn't bad. It is the Gluten sticking to Round Up then sticking to your insides a slowing killing you from the inside out.

I have Chrons, I made an account after seeing your post.

I was literally bed ridden, couldn't work and always in pain from flares. I relied on growing my own preferred strains of MMJ and a strict diet to keep it in control as best I could, with edibles being the biggest relief.

Anyways I started taking cannabidiol isolate a friend of mine started producing in 2017 and haven't looked back. It took a few months of eating a few hundred milligrams of CBD isolate per day to notice a day and night difference.

I actually just went to get a colonscopy in febuary and was taken off anti inflammatory prescribtions for the first time in 4 years.

I can send you some isolate to give your cousin if he would like, for free.

That’s people biggest prob they always think the cure is in some pill or some herb or some external thing. Increasing oxygen has been proven to cure autoimmune disease amongst other things but it’s def not for those people who aren’t willing to outside their comfort zone. It takes a strong mind and that many people do not have society has made sure of that

Provide your cousin this information perhaps and let him be the judge of the info rather than filter info for him. Not saying that your filtering his info but saying that he’d be the best judge on the matter as to wether the information is relative or not

That's so nice of you words can't explain. There's some problems though.

My cousin doesn't smoke weed and it smoked a couple times with me when we were 16 and he was always the sober kid who focused on money and finding a wife. So therefore I'm afraid that since you need to take it so long for it to work that he may not trust me or the substance to be worth the trouble. It's already going to be really weird telling him that a part of the weed plant can help him tremendously, so it's going to be much harder to keep him on it.

He has been on a gluten free diet for awhile, btw

I too am battling a disease. Chronic hep C I got from birth. I'm going to try the medicine that's out I just hope my insurance accepts it, I'll know when I get my physical in a few months. Any tips on helping my liver and gaining weight and energy would be very helpful. Thanks again guys

I was hoping I could just a bulk load of cbd gummies and have him eat 1 or 2 a day for a few weeks and have him starting to feel better. If he just needs to eat a few gummies a day that doesn't get you high I think I have a good chance of convincing him to do it. Of course I would need some research backing this up

I guess it's not that easy is what I'm hearing so far

That sucks man. Sad to hear this.

I would say that CBD edibles should help. CBD has anti-inflammatory properties. Also just trying to find the right diet would be key to helping to avoid the symptoms of Crohn's disease.

Also edible mushrooms. Those likely will help as well, medicinal non-psychoactive mushrooms would likely be beneficial to his stomach.

Isn’t it funny it took the “most” radical president to sign the fucking farm bill. It is such a no brainer I’m seriously appalled it wasn’t signed off decades ago.

I’ve had pretty bad digestive issues myself. Kratom will clog you up like no other. I fee like its pepto bismol leaf form. I’ll even take it if I have the shits.

If your looking for ingestables they have tinctures and isolate, but he is a long time shroomery member and the gentleman who introduced me to gourmet mushroom growing

Either way, I do have some input, CBD isolate is THC free, or should be from a reputable company, but anything "full spectrum" will contain THC. That is a big difference no one mentions and there is no such thing as THC free full spectrum.'

While eating it took some time and regular up keep, I also vape it when Im stressed or if I smoked too much bud or run out. Vaping it is noticable and the effects onset in a few minutes like THC.

As far as your weight gain issues, I go through bouts the same with Chrons.

I suggest a mass gainer, its like a protein shake but loaded with carbs and their are some super healthy ones. You cant live off them but they will replace a full meal in a rush and definitely pack on healthy weight quickly.
