Smoked weed and didn’t panic * 3

So I’ve been super stressed.

Was at the bar last night and bartender handed me her vape pen with some good sativa in it.  Took a hit.  Small hit.  Was actually feeling good. So when I got home I smoked some flower. And I didn’t panic or nothin.  Usually I’m so uptight about ruining my life. But since my life is falling apart currently...I just gave in to not giving a fuck and ironically I woke up today more able to give a fuck.  It seems my night of just letting go and smoking some herb helped me to reset my brain.

Feels pretty cool man. Had to share it.

Don't hit Sativas if you have anxiety from weed at times.
Stick to Indica dominant strains if you can.

If you must smoke a Sativa, incorporate some vaporized CBD into the ritual. It'll dull the high, but also greatly reduce any sort of panic or anxiety.

Probably not what I will do.


Got high again last night.

Went deep into thought about nature of reality.  How my subjective perception means more than the arbritrary life I’m living.  And how my action of burning a plant and inhaling it is wrapped up in my subjective perception thus effecting it.    Got really intense. Usually I would have took a Xanax. But this time I was like fuck it. I’m just gonna lay back and observe the chaos as my soul burns

I’m noticing some weird  shit. 

The other night when I went to the bar and this chick gave me her sativa vape, I had a good time.

Then the next night I had some of my indica flower and I got panicky

Last night I smoked some of my sativa flower and I kept wanting to smoke more and more cause I just felt good.

When I was a heavy smoker I hated sativa.  So this is weird for me.

Lol.  Co worker keeps saying I look tired today. But I feel great.  Weed definitely effects my facial features the next day.  And shit. When I smoked everyday I bet i always looked much different than I would if I didn’t smoke.

I'm not much of a weed smoker. I used to be, grew out of it. Just made me feel weird and think strange thoughts. Just overall, didnt care for it.

Today was my first time actually getting ahold of one of my friends and asking him if he had any edibles. Only reached out because I have a pretty shitty cold and not feeling well. All I want to do is eat and relax. The gummies have done me very well today. Staying hydrated and eating plenty of good food.

And I'm more than sure I will get plenty of rest tonight.. because I'm about to take one more shortly and call it a night!

Def not something I like doing when I'm trying to be active or whatever. But just hanging in bed and watching movies.. cant go wrong with it!

Last night when I had indica I definitely had strange thoughts.  They are so real too. I don’t fuckin care anymore though.

It does differ based on your personal brain chemistry, the effects of THC in Indicas vs Sativas that is.

But the standard medically and recreationally for cannabis has always been Indicas for anxiety, pain, and induction of sleep, and Sativas used for energy, focus, & creativity.

When I first moved out here to Colorado, I had grown up smoking mostly Sativas and it's what I thought worked for me from a medical standpoint to treat my anxiety issues. My first year here I only bought and grew strains that were 70/30 Sativa dominant up to 90/10 (Golden Goat for the most part).

And it worked because psychologically I believed it to be working.

It wasn't until I actually talked to my doctor that prescribed me my medical card that he informed me on this and I decided to give his suggestion a try.

I ended up for the first time here buying Indica dominant flower, concentrates and edibles. The difference was truly astounding as far as the Indica for me truly feeling like medicine. And now, 2 years later I still only stick to Indica Dominant.

Sativas, if I smoke enough, and especially with shatter since the CBD isn't there I tend to get really jittery, and it produces an almost uncomfortable high for me.

Again, everyone's brain and body works differently. But I see Sativas now as recreational and Indicas as medicine.
