Nevermind the fact that we paid for 1/4 and only got 5g, which is annoying enough in itself, and nevermind that the bag was mostly stems/pins, but the guy that sold these to my gf also didn't know what kind they were, saying, "it's one of the two that grows on the West coast."  Most of my mycological knowledge comes from here (no real successful hunts yet), so I thought I'd ask if you guys could tell me what kind these might be by a shitty webcam pic. Stems look pretty thick, kinda look like dried cubes, but, uh, those don't grow out here. There's a tad bit of blue stain on them, though, so I don't think we were *totally* ripped off.
Definitely not buying from this d-bag again.

Psilocybe cubensis. Generally, it's the only kind commercially grown anywhere.

Okay, at least I can give myself props for guessing right. From what it sounded like, the guy was finding them naturally, not growing them commercially, but whatev, I guess I'll just be happy that I got some cubes.
