Well, Beleive it or not, Microsoft Operating systems are SHIT. WIndows 98 is the non working proof to that . Anyways. Because of the install process of windows 98, it seems to never install the same twice. I had 98 on my machine, it worked OK. Took everything off, put 2000 pro on there. Works a lot better (I am not liking this, Microshit are starting to make some OK programs...) I had to got back to 98 because HP isn't supporting my scanner and printer for 2000 (PRICKS!) anyway, I went back to 98, and it BSOD every second time I boot. So what i am saying is, windows 98 is a peice of shit, and even if you format, it doesn't seem to install properly first time, everytime.jC

I've run Windows 2.0, 3.1, 3.11, 95, 98, 2000, and NT. I think people slam Micro$oft more than they deserve, but to be honest, if you have the time, install a Linux partition (or OpenBSD!).I'm currently running Red Hat 6.2, and I absolutely love it. Setting up my ADSL connection took about a minute and a half. I do a lot of programming, and I like gcc. I haven't had any problems thus far, and I only use my Windows partition for a few programs I haven't found clones for. I'm sure a lot of people here familiar with *nix, and would be more than happy to help you with any problems. Cheers, Hush.
