everyone is different but mescaline imo

I think the application of different substances boils down to set and setting. It's hard to know whats right for you until you've done it.

mescaline is better for interpersonal stuff, lsd is for the mind, shrooms are spiritual, ayahuasca is body/soul. And there are countless intermediates.

Never did cactus so I'll have to say mushrooms

Also never did Ayahuasca only smoked very limited amounts of dmt

I would wager any plant based psychedelic made from mother Earth, whether mushrooms (psilocybin), cactus (mescaline), or dmt, or anything I missed given by mother Earth, all have similar healing potential

For me it was mushrooms

For mental/emotional healing, I would say mushrooms. Also, San Pedro is great as well. LSD can work as well in the right setting and dosage.

all medicines can heal or harm depending on dose and frequency, and entheogens are medicines that affect both mind and body:
  • (weed) cannabis seems to get the most support as a healing medicine in the literature to date.
  • (phens) mescaline, mdma, and amphetamines have a long history of emotional, stamina, and attention-related applications.
  • (psilocybin + DMT) mushrooms and DMT related drugs are successful in resetting one's perspective or world view.
  • (lysergamides) LSD etc, are like psilocybin but seem also to have additional medical effects such as headache management.
  • (salvinorin) salvia divinorum is difficult to dose consistently, but has similar perspective altering effects to DMT while actually affecting different receptors - which is suggestive that the mind does its own healing when triggered by any one of several kinds of conditions and medicines.

The only true answer one can give you is that it really is different for everyone
One man may vibe good with the soul of the shrooms and another with the Cactus

For me personally I vibe better and have a better relationship with Cactus.
It also heavily depends how your using them too
Don’t just take them to feel the high, because the psychedelic high alone won’t fix anything

For me cactus has been the most healing.  Mushrooms are up there too.  But its probably one of those subjective things that will be different for everyone.

Guys who said cactus, was that the first entheogen you explored and experimented on a deeper level with or just once you did it "felt like home" so to speak

I would be very interested to try cactus.

Seems from what I hear like a mix between lsd and mushrooms ? Or a "organic" type of lsd?

first was LSD, cactus felt like organic acid, mushrooms taught me a lot...

Im going to have to say for me personally, it has been Iboga. Only because it literally altered my life path in one use, and healed my mind body and soul on so many levels. Very powerful medicine. Next I would say Cactus. Its a very beautiful and clear experience that leaves me feeling amazing afterwords.

I suppose it depends on what type of healing is needed as well as the individual. Mushrooms will always hold a special place in my heart- they curbed my depression & addiction(s) real quick. They also changed my perspective on life and made me more inquisitive about things.

Cactus on the other hand I have limited experience with, but it seems to allow me to be more attentive and better able to focus. It quiets my mind and brings peace. Less attachment I suppose. I'm very intrigued with the cacti-effects. I definitely need to work with it more often. Enkidu, you gotta try it my friend.

I don't doubt that other psychedelics have their place, but I have yet to have any noticeable healing experiences from LSD or vaped DMT. Mushrooms and cactus seem like a complete package IMO  :shrug:
