Ehrlich reagent question

So i have the reagent and what im assuming is a ceramic plate, i cut two corners (roughly a quarter of the tab) and put one in the vile provided when i bought the kit and one on the plate.(smaller portion is in the vile) Its been on the plate and vile for 15 minutes, the tabs have turned purple itself.(also note they had a little bit of purple and other colors on them before hand but now the purple is a lot more noticeable) The liquid however hasnt changed noticeably at all, only the corners of the tab. Its my first time using the kit so im not sure if its that, or a user issue but i dont think i could mess up that badly.
TL:DR

Tab is purple in the test, liquid hasnt changed colors.
Is my tab "safe"
From my knowledge 1p-lsd and others like it would still change the color?
It mainly only changed color on the side that was white to purple.

that's the problem with colored blotter. it's hard to tell if you're seeing the ink streak or the chemical reaction.

the Ehrlich reagent only tests for an indole structure there are lots of things that have this so the test is best backed up by others.

As far as I know the fluid should only change color when it comes in contact with the indole. so it would make sense that the liquid won't change if it hasn't touched the paper

What should i use as well marquis? Would it be safe to assume his is a good tab or at least safe enough to take before say tobight while i wait for the marquis to come in.

The tab was submerged in the ehrlich reagent so im confused what you mean with the second part.

What i mean is either there's not enough substance to change all the liquid or simply not all the liquid has come into contact with the substance.

Use the search engine because i cant remember and that's what i would do lol.

When it comes to purchasing small doses ehrlich is comforting enough for me to bring to a party or festival. But if you are buying in bulk i would recamend cross referencing different tests

Ive had plenty of real L I've paid for as well as recieved and given away free L. :shrug:

Heres a recent test of mine. Used about a quarter as well. It turned purple pretty quick.

Ahh, well i see its not 100% purple, could i be i used to much liquid? I tipped the bottle and even though it had a top like it would drip out it kind of poured out.

I still have the one in the vile which i will check on again when im home, it was a smaller piece though so if it doesnt change im thinking to be safe i should test the whole tab and just buy another at this point.

You wanna use the hoffman reagent to confirm its lsd, and my ehlrich book says eth is purple while lsd is pink soooo might be ETH-LAD, 1P can also take a hour or two to react

Basically people don't make lsd for profit, they do it to spread it far and wide. Money means travel to them. The family isn't looking for profit, just improved consciousness

Every Ehrlich test Ive done on L has turned purple not pink. :shrug:

Weird, I mean when it first hits it its like a pink that turns quickly to purple. Do you have a pic of the chart by any chance? You've got me curious now, lol.

Could use a follow up tesr to rule out other shit

I personally would eat a tab and if it has no taste or tingling then you should be good

I had work so i left the cile out and i ended up sleeping at a friends, i got home today and nlticed the purple that was there is now gone, its been almost 24 hours so im not sure if that means anything however the ink was still on the blotter, my idea is that if the ink is there the purple that i saw must have been from the test and not ink?

I think maybe you're over thinking it

If the tab has no taste or tingling then chances are you're good

Ehrlich reacts to indoles, not ink. Take a piece of paper with purple ink on it and throw a drop of ehrlich, see what happens

Interesting. This is the card I got and it pretty much matches the results Ive seen in the past 5 or so years since Ive been using testers on L. Im not saying yours is wrong or anything but its definitely different than the results Iv seen for Ehrlich.

Whithin 30 seconds it should be pretty much purple. Maybe your reagent is diluted? Thats just a guess, Im really not sure.

Interesting, I went with bunk police and yeah they're test are over the course of 60 seconds, but I wonder why mine has other colors unless they add something else in, ive found the hoffman reagent takes forever to react with L for some reason but so far it always turns a dark ass purple
