Our government is corrupt and the people in power are beholden to the interests of the wealthy. The wealthy make a killing off of fossil fuel. The wealthy don’t give a shit if the entire global south dies off. They don’t care if ecosystems collapse, they have the money and the power to make sure they themselves will be just fine.

No kidding.  Every time I read one of XUL's posts I think "we already had a discussion on this".  Nobody here supports establishment democrats.  Why pretend what the left thinks based on conservative talking points rather than accepting what they think based on what's discussed here in the shroomery?
