I fucked up my ebike the first 10 minutes of riding.


Then road it without the pedal chain trying to climb my driveway I stripped out the planetary gears I think.

I have it in the shop now.

Stupid fucking screw wasn't adjusted right so when I tried downshifting to 1st gear the derailer went to close to the spokes and the motor engaged as soon as the chain jumped off and grabbed my spokes ripping the hanger for the derailer off the frame.

they told me I should have had a bike tech go over everything first.

It would have been nice if they told me that before my accident.

They mailed me a new hanger yesterday. I'm buying a new derailer for $25. The old one was destroyed.

And hopefully the motor can be fixed with a new $20 gear. This was a seperate accident. The motor works okay but on take off you can hear it clicking and slipping sometimes.

Now that I know what not to do it should be fine by next weekend just like new again.

They are really fun to ride.

I have mine @ ebikes of Colorado in Louisville getting worked on. If you go there they have like 200 ebikes and they have all sorts of bikes you can ride for free for test drives.

Right next to their shop is a bike/running trail they will let you take the test bikes on.

Really fun thing to do that cost no money.

The fold up bike was really fun to ride.

Their bikes cut off & 20mph tho where mine will reach 30+mph

Sorry to hear you guys

Not long after buying a 700$ bike , i smashed it up bad from hiting a fire hydrant

Could have been worse the fork and everthing got completely smashed up , flew over the handle bars
