SE Qld copes or antillarum?
    #25885143 -

Hi shroomeryers!

First time picking in 15+ years. I had been picking while trail running so my previous hauls were too beaten up and black from spores so hard to ID bruising. Does bruising decrease potency?
I was so sure of the distinctive blue meanie look from years ago, but didnt know about antillarum until browsing this forum. Surely its ok if there's a mix of meanies and antillarum? Not toxic right, just dilutes the dose if mixed together?
Found my first cube today too (at least I think so).
Thanks in advance for your help ID'ing! Dont want to add to the anxiety when I finally give these a go.

P. Cubensis is correct for that large one.

I think I see some blue bruising, those would be Copelandia Cyanescens. I might also see some Panaeolus Antillarum or Panaeolus Papilionaceus, namely the ones that aren't bruising. Yes P. Antillarum is not toxic and you definitely have mostly C. Cyanescens.

For a better answer wait for someone more acquainted with the species.

The big one is Psilocybe cubensis, the rest all look like Panaeolus cyanescens group. As far as I can see there's nothing that looks toxic there, all I see are Panaeolus, but I'm a bit nervous that I might have missed something when I see a scattering of mushrooms like that, so maybe wait for another TI to confirm just to be on the safe side.

By the way, when you're posting a large number of mushrooms for identification, it's a good idea to lay them out individually on a page and number each one. That way it makes it easier for us to refer to each one individually.

I see one psilocybe cubensis and the rest are in the panaeolus cyanescens group, microscopy is needed to determine the exact species you have in the group.

About 8 mushrooms would be plentiful for one person to have a full psychoactive dose. Post on this thread and ask for dosage recommendations, lots of panaeolus bioassay experience there.
