I'm thinking of buying some pre-prepared jars from his site but would like to get some info from people who've bought from him before. most importantly, did mushrooms grow successfully? do you recommend?

Mike is a Shroomery Vendor, that is, he pays to have his banner on the website. This is a guarantee of quality. Search if you want more info, but I say hes legit.

I bought from sporeworks my first try n it was great. The shipping (ups or fedex, don remember) wasnt that great, so one of them was broken. But they were really cool on the phone n sent me another free of charge.
Sporeworks (from my knowledge) is a great company.

Why would u wanna buy his jars and waste money when you can make your own for alot less and as much as you want, buying pre-made ones is a rip off.

because I've never grown before and money isn't a concern. just like someone else posted earlier in this thread, it's comforting to a newbie when half the process is guaranteed complete. I'd rather spend $50 on a dozen jars to increase chances of success than try it all on my own and fail at my first grow attempt. I'm pretty sure this is the kind of attitude mike is trying to address with his business.
