First time here so I was looking for some pre sterilized manure based substrate jars. Does anyone have a link.

It's a great deal of pride and experience making your own. The stuff you need isn't hard to come by.

Pride, maybe, sure. But more-so the fact that you cannot really trust "sterilization" done by anyone but yourself.

Also, manure is typically used as a bulk substrate, in which case it should be properly pasteurized, which is not only very different from sterilization, but is also more difficult to do successfully.

If you need bulk substrate, just use coir, it's so easy seemingly the standard for this community.

Yup, unless hes taking a stab at some Pans but even then you don't need to inoculate into manure.

If your interested in cultivation, why not learn on your own? No access to manure? Black kow worked for me in a pinch.

Pasteurization is not a difficult process by any means.

Bring the manure to feild capacity, lightly fill pint or quart jars, cover with foil, place in pot with cold water, stick a meat thermometer through the foil of a jar to monitor the center temperature, bring water to a boil, turn off stove at about 135 degrees, start your timer for one hour once it reads 140, do not allow heat to exceed 160.

Sure it might take you a couple of attempts but at least you'll have a technique for manure and casing prep.
Check this out for more.

:whathesaid:
The only time you sterilize manure; is if it's going to remain in sterile conditions the whole time it colonizes. In a spawn bag etc. Generally you pasteurize manure.

Just to be clear: not saying pasteurization is difficult, just that sterilization is often easier, in my opinion. PC at >15 psi for 2 hours for quart jars. Done.

I just found out that's what you need for pans. The ones I have now is mainly brown rice flower. I'm trying to find something good that can be grown in it. Suggestions?

Trying to peice this together.. Sounds like you switched gears or bought some pre-made PF-Tek jars. Any variety of cubensis you find online will grow fine on them. I wouldn't recommend any PE though.

Yes. I got the premade jars before I did any real reading. I don't know any potent cubes. I wanted to try pans for visuals but when I got the grow kit the jars in there are brown rice flower

Any cube is potent enough if you eat enough of them. Any typical Psilocybe cubensis strain will work. Like he said skip the PE. They prefer to be cased.

I've read that b+ and golden teacher are two most recommended for beginners. (while also a cube is a cube). When I first started I got some pre made subs and the ones I made myself are colonizing faster,, some have already been birthed while the pre made jars are still colonizing. I recommend reading as much as you can on this site. I have books but most of what I learned was on here. Pay attention to the names in the top tek's and read all of their stuff.
