There were a lot on the ground ready to be set up in S. CO recently.

I need to switch over to the britta water filters. I have a bad habit of only buying cases of water bottles for drinking.

Those really big ones?

I hear those things like to leak hydraulic fluid, make lots of noise and cause other disruptions to surrounding communities who have to live in flickering shadows every day.

What's maintaining one of those like?

I'm enjoying it because we are still in an ice age and that carbon should be in the atmosphere. Human history and flourishing is tied to warmth. Climate alarmists are so focused on perceived science that they don't know history.
Its always framed as denial and acceptance. I accept it as a good thing

I have been surrounded by them in the oil fields. I have slept under one. They are all over south Texas & west Texas.

I have lived in La Vernia, New Braunfels, San Antiono and  Floresville

South Wise

&

Monahans, Odessa, Poteet, & Midland

West Wise

And now they are going up all over in southern CO


They make no noise. They never leak. Hell I have never witnessed or seen evidence of a bird flying into one.


My brother tried to convince me they would never pay for themselves and it was a complete was subsidies government EPA joke like corn syurp.

But then again he owns a god damn oil field business in Midland and has a fucking Trump flag in his home.

Me and my brother do not agree on much

He is full of shit

My own brother will warp reality in order for his views line up and get will NEVER admit he is wrong and I blame him partly for manipulating me when I was weak destroying my present life as I knew it.

I will listen and try to adapt my way if thinking if it makes sense to me

My brother is the complete opposite

I don't maintain them, only build them. Hydraulic systems shouldn't leak unless it's a failure. Same as elevators shouldn't leak hydraulic fluid, but sometimes they do a bit. Same as all hydraulic systems.


I wouldn't want to live next to any power plant, coal, nat gas, nuclear, hydro dam, wind anything. It's an industrial high voltage generating machine. Living next to high voltage lines aren't good for anyone, no matter the source of the power.
