I really liked sour diesel and then all the diesel spin offs.  I also really liked Jack Herer.  Best flavor goes to this batch of weed called Vermont Breeze..  I don’t know what the story was on that.

Generally weed is just weed for me, but I've noticed I gravitate to those strains.

Not a fan of fuely strains. Awful taste. I can take Jack herer but things like sour diesel or chemdawg make me want to barf. I mean I'll smoke it tho

I grew some a while back that was chemdawg crossed with an indica mystery strain. I could tell by the leaves and not much stretch.  I let it rippen in a garage with cool fall air and let around 25-40% of the trichomes turn amber. The feel was different than a lot of dispensary strains. Super sedating and relaxing. Wish i had a clone

My favorite strain will always be a mystery. I was in the backseat of my buds car and he just got some super medicinal of some strain. On the way back, the on coming car's lights were trailing, and i was laughing my ass off. First time i ever hallucinated off of THC.

Ya the main differences I notice are mostly in smell
Look
And taste at times
I suppose some make me a little more tired than others but not by much
That being said my faveorite is based off the highest I’ve been off small amounts
So with that in mind it’s a real toss up between  ( note I’ve had the real version of all of these and REALLY healthy plants / buds of them )

I had great interest in a strain I tried recently
Supposed to have low THC but I got FRIED
It was called red dwarf and it it rests me cause if I read the description right are they saying it comes from a third family of weed not being indica or sativa ?

cannabis ruderalis is the 3rd species. It Likely had a high amount of cbd as well because ruderalis is hemp.

Yeah, especially for medical reasons, pain and siezures. I found that plants with equal parts thc and cbd (10% of each give or take) had strong effects when my thc tolerance is high. Cbd alone isnt very psychoactive but certainly influences the high when combined with thc.

Pure hemp is grown for industrial purpose. It is legal because thc levels are pretty much 0. Fabric and rope and cbd supplements come from hemp.

Hindu Kush, Gorilla Glue #4, anything cheese-ey, Platinum Kush, Pure kush, and Sherbet for potency.
Bomberry kush, Sour Diesel, anything Afghani, and Gorilla Glue #4 for smell.
Candyland purple, Grandaddy Purple, and Ingrid for looks.

Lol purple doesnt really mean much. The color comes from the temperature of the environment  while the bud is ripening on the plant. I can make plants turn purple by dropping the temperature. I can make plants stay green by keeping it warm.

Paying more for purple is a dealers trick

True, ive grown it purple because i like the way it looks as well. I do think the color of the trichomes makes the biggest differences in the feel of the high. Clear trichomes = highest THC levels and amber trichomes = CBN, which is what thc breaks down into during the ripening process. Cbn couch locks and gives indica effects.. I feel like this makes a bigger difference in the high than the genetics of the plant, as long as it is a potent plant.  Its hard to find bud thats high in cbn. Most dispensaries harvest at peak thc levels because its good advertising and faster turnover.

Oh snap I didn’t know that.  A few years back a batch came through that was really dark putple almost black and I can’t remember the name, purple nurple?  I could be making that up.. but it was really good herb.

Diesel (any diesel, purple, sour, NYC, whatever)

On the east coast here I am one of the few that get the Madusa from a private seller in CO. Every batch is always good. Any cookies is great. Recently had Mimosa in DC.. wowzers. One of the best strains I have ever had but I havent seen a years is Hot Dog and Sugar Bear. Right now I have Gelato. Its pretty wicked as well. Only the best :grin:
