Hey guys, Can anyone tell me what's going on here? This was a free EQ syringe that I used. I assumed these were pins. But now I don't know since they don't have a cap. Any info would be great thanks.

:whathesaid: you know that's what's fucked about certain vendors is they are greedy due to spores being microscopic use only they will load with oysters cause if we use them as advised then we wouldn't know ... so being that we do and try to tell them they say well you broke the law by growing them out anyway .. its fucked which is why you should go with trusted vendors

Bruh, same thing going on here. I know for a fact this was a cubensis print but oysters are apparently stronger than cubensis mycelium hahaha

open up the air more on that tub, you'll get some good solid oyster mushrooms out of it.

I also read somewhere on a RR Thread about oyster mushrooms having tons of spores and easily getting into other Spore prints if done in the same room. Or maybe I just got screwed. The other syringes I got molded in the bag so I can't comment on those that I actually paid for.

I've got them in a martha closet, at 91% RH with an automatic fan every 4 hours for 1 minute. But my substrate is a little thin. About 2 inches. We'll see what happens, just really a test box anyhow. I'm just starting out. Learn the hard way I guess.

Ralph and spores 101 ain't sponsors and no one is plugging them as good places to spend money (taking away business from our supporting vendors) so I see no reason why we should censor the fact that ralph and spores101 are scams and hopefully save people the trouble in the future.

They're both well known for sending people oysters when they want cubes.

Don't let them know that you are cultivating, tell them that microscopy confirms that they are not what you paid for, if it was free, you can't really bitch.

Edit 2: My advice is to not buy psilocybe cubensis spores,  to many people giving them away for free if folks would just ask, not to mention the prices are way to high and they are lying about their "strain" varieties of cubensis. Albino, leucistic and penis envy are the only legitimate varieties of cubensis in my opinion, other than that it's no different than doing a a multispore grow and getting different sizes, potency is subjective and will vary from grow to grow.

Well. For shits and giggles,  the oysters are still going. Looking pretty weak though. Pretty sure my substrate it's all wrong for these guys. Coco coir and vermiculite mix. Looks like they're drying out fast. I have no idea how big do they supposed to get.
