Any idea how soon Cubes will pop in North GA? Weather seems like its getting there but I havent found anything but mycelium under dung

I realize this, but im new to North GA. Used to South ga/north FL. Have an excellent field, was just wondering a general time frame. More so summer?

I have some of these on agar. Probably won't have much to add until next year as they're going outside. This thread is making me really excited about them as well as the other couple woodlovers I've got going 😁

I’m kinda surprised by this. This winter seemed to be painfully average temperature wise. In reality it was substantially warmer than average in the east. Rainfall was obviously above average. All signs point to kickoff before mid April.

It’s funny that despite all the talk about polar vortexes and brutal winter conditions, only one state had a colder than average winter.

Took 3 days off work during that week to hunt full-time. Already notified the wife that she's just going to have bite the bullet for 3 days and be on kid duty. It's either that or I start growing them again...BUWHAHAHA.

Even if they're not popping that week, I still enjoy the hunt regardless.
