So I've never seen this before in all my grows. I spawned 24 1/2 pint jars to 12 small trays. I put a 1/4 inch layer of coir/verm on the bottom of tray then 2, 1/2 pint jars of wbs colonized with costa rican it was MS,then a 3/4 inch casing on top of coir/verm. Today is day 10 since I did this and I checked on my trays this morning and 3 trays had green mold on the top 1/16 inch of the casing. It was on the coir/verm not the spawn because it hadn't made it to the top of the casing layer yet. I scraped away the casing on those 3 and took them out of the GH. So my question is how can Trich/green mold grow on coir/verm I was under the impresion it was CONTAM resistant ?
Unfortunately I didnt take a pic. But this old pic here is the trays I use.
