Hello! Question of identification... after hours of research I am still unable to Id what exactly this contaminate is. The growth looks like lipstick mold but a much lighter shade and is growing very slow. I live in a hot n humid area (not sure if that would change the molds appearance at all)....small light pink spot first appeared after cake was fully colonized and has hardly grown in the past two weeks until pins appeared. I harvested the first flush this morning and now it seems to been growing somewhat faster. Any help with an ID will be much appreciated!
And last question... is it safe to eat the roomies? The growth wasn’t actually touching any fruits. And they were then dried in a dehydrator @140f for 2hrs and put in the freezer.
