Thanks folks. I actually lost a bunch of pins early on with this flush, until I got things dialed. They don't like to be directly in the breeze in the GH. So what I do is create a little wind-sheltered microclimate where they can grow slowly and do their thing.
mycorry, I think I cased this with 50/50 jiffy/verm. I also use cactus mix/peat/verm (.25/.25/50) with a little extra sand.

Elpico, you are killing it
Cross posted from LAGM: a really awful pic of my 8 current manure/grass stalks/wbs/bran/coir-based semilanceata jars. Made up LI from a T3 last night and gave each ~4cc. Still have LI left for 8 more and have 2 qts of barley jumping off from agar. Manure jars shook nicely. I'm fairly excited...

EDIT: Likely not chicon nindo. Simply calling it stone producer
Supposed to be P. mexicana chicon nindo but idk:

Using jcm's easy fruiting pan chamber, works great. Much easier than a greenhouse or monotub for me and so far is giving better results than I have gotten before with stone producers. Just put it in the chamber then forget about it.

Dude did you complete the agar work with these, are these from the terribly packed Norwegian prints? I've been told they are from especially large specimens, and I'm starting to agree with people who think there are more variations of liberty cap than "just" semilanceata.

Agar work with this species is the hardest I've come by and I've struggled for 6 months to even establish one decent culture.
That you are here now is a testament bro good agar work because what you received was infantile and amateurish at best!
Nothing compares to the mystery of this species'!!!!1

Great work!! I don't think i've ever grown a canopy of mexicanas anywhere near that good.
I cant help but notice that the caps are very wet, is that just how the chamber works? It seems like If I mist a little too much they abort, where yours look soaked yet extremely healthy.

Thanks guys! Yes I had just sprayed them so they looked wet. The chamber also tends to keep things rather wet.
I've never grown mexicana before this but for tamps I always sprayed them liberally at all stages and they seemed not to mind. They only aborted when I let them dry out. For that reason I always kept things on the wet side(in fact at times they surprised me how much moisture they would tolerate).
I think you mentioned living in a dry climate? I wonder if maybe they aborted from rapidly going from wet to dry?

@smalltalk_cancelled mush appreciated Couldn't have possibly done this without you. The prints cleaned up beautifully! It's actually part of my LAGM (I added that and AA+ the day after the varieties were first posted). Been eyeing them for growth and watching my grain jars (a2g) leap sloooow AF like Man, I totally forgot to check on your grow! Any progress? I think the only thing slower than these are angulospora...
@elpico thanks man. I am gonna top fruit these. Probably jiffy casing and stick them in a tub. The grain jars I'm going to try in a tub with coir, manure, straw, and a topsoil layer with grass seed to grow and maintain a microclimate. I just hope to hell I can get that far. Plates looked quite nice but the grain jars are crawling. Hoping my thick LI will speed these bottle grows up to a sane pace.
Afterthought: Ambrose, that mexicana grow...

Those are looking fantastic Ambrose! Glad those came to fruition for ya! I’ve been thinking about making one of those JCM FC’s myself...

Hot damn, that's quite a lineup there. Looking forward to seeing the progress of these. Is "zapotecorum Australia" the undescribed species in section Zapotecorum?
