Once these last couple tubs run their course I’ll be excited to give these guys another honest effort.

Hoping I can get to pin stage again as I really messed everything up last time and got a couple ideas of how I can improve this time. Time will tell.
Nice, I was thinking of giving rye a shot with another species.
I'm following along with two strains of Ps. papuana I'm really excited to get to grain. Keep updating about this one, I've been fascinated since Heyowana's finds.

I'm so doing that with my retired soft pots this year. I don't like them for growing cannabis but somehow I've ended up with a bunch.
So what's your plan for the Caeruleoannulata? I'm not far behind you and doesn't look like it's going to need any selective work. It's obviously been in good hands.
Psilocybe Caeruleoannulata Chile day 12 I was thinking about using hemp mats and grass seed with my test sub for an indoor attempt initially. Mandatory top fruiting attempts as well.

You're like an exotic. Taking it's own sweet time.
Good to see another top notch cultivator in the mix.

My plan for the caeruleoannulata is to treat it like I did the stuntzii! Chip spawn to pots and totes, cased and cooled

Did you find them at a higher elevation? From what I understand the Zapotecorum I have and Subtropicalis I almost have from there were not far above sea level at all.

The wood lover in it is sure showing up now. It's doubtful this will fruit indoors but I'm going to try. I have a cold room this year that I didn't have the last time I dealt with these. Still debating if I want to top fruit or spawn. The room will only be cold for another 5 to 6 months. The next round is going to be similar to what scapo is doing.
Psilocybe Aztecorum LC test day 15
Psilocybe Aztecorum LC test day 15 The mushroom shape is a good omen. Even though it's a little uneven.

Scapo, would you mind giving more detail on your fruiting chamber that you used for stuntzii? I think you did fruited ovoids too, correct?
I'm looking at trying to fruit ovoids in a modified fridge. Did you track conditions with a logger or did you happen on what conditions worked?

For sure!
The ovoids were easy: I took some colonized chips, cased them in a shoebox, and covered them and 4weeks later they fruited. No chamber!
The stuntzii initially fruited indoors in a wine fridge. In a 64oz tupperware container with the lid on. It took a bit of time for them to pin but the pinset was solid in the fridge.
Once I saw pins I put them into the chamber. The chamber is a large tote with fae holes with seed lights affixed inside and an aquarium air pump that has the lines fed into jars of water. This is dual purpose: The constant positive pressure prevents contam getting in, and the air stays humid because the pump is bubbling through water.

Cool thanks! Reading through mushpuppet's grow from years ago, ovoids pinned for him at room temperature. I think they thought they were caerulipes at the time.
Bobwastaken also used an air pump to push in air like what you described. Interesting to note that both the ovoid and stuntzii seemed to continue fruiting once pinning started despite being moved to warmer conditions.

@chosen, your aztecorum looks much nicer than mine… I’m hoping things start to look better once I get them to some wood.
