Hunting in Hawaii - are these Panaeolus Cyans?
    #25872644 - 03/13/19 10:21 PM (2 months, 5 days ago)

Found in cow/horse pasture. Only had 20 minutes to hunt and stumbled on these after a prayer to the mushroom gods.

Both antillarum and cyanescens have a black print. But cyans will bruise blue heavily.

Pan. Cyan.  Will also lack the shine on the cap that you see with panaeolus antillarum, the stem on cyans will be thin, straw colored or the color of uncooked spaghetti when looked at from the side. Antillarums stem  will turn reddish brown color where rubbed and cyanescens will not turn reddish brown but bluish where injured or handled.
