I do not know if I went into their criteria for the contest but I would like to try to grow cactus, so far I have only grown silene capensis and vegetables.

    Some of mine were crushed also but I always lose a little coming from the land down under.
    You used a pretty tuff envelope too so I was surprised.
    Maybe try wrapping a sliver of bubble wrap around them?

    I've been using bubble wrap when sending overseas because of the rollers used in some parts.

    If you need a replacement let me know.


    I'm good and fine for everything right now. I'll be packing up the gardening and focusing on mycology for the next few months.

    I got a padded envelope from the states last week and every bubble was popped as well.

    Must be a guy down at the post office that has the job to pop every last bubble. :lol:

    Mycology is fun. I have a feeling you'll like it.
    I want to get back into mycology as well but I'm gonna focus on tricho just a little bit longer.

    When I send seed in an envelope I put them into a centrifuge tube but that tube is too thick to go through the seed crusher machines so... I have to pay to send as a small parcel $2.54 or so rather than .50$ for a stamp but it’s worth it

    If you just stick a tube into an envelope with a stamp the centrifuge tube may tear the envelope and fall out but im gonna try taping the tube to the inside of the envelope and saving $2 lol. I’m sounding really cheap right now but sometimes money is tight. Worth the two bucks if you can afford it tho so you don’t have to worry

    Putting them into a little box and paying more will always prevent them from going through the envelope machines lost too many seeds that way I was hoping to receive lol
