Well done, this looks to be the true P. makarorae and in macroscopic form matches well my collection of that species below.


Alan has now got an ITS sequence of my collection below and it is a 100% match with P. angulospora, thanks Alan

In macroscopic form they are quite similar, young gills of P. makarorae are quite a pale greyish yellow-brown colour while P. subaeruginosa has palid smoky brown gills when young, P. makarorae has some white veil remnants on the cap while P. subaeruginosa is glabrous or bald with no veil remnants.

Cool, what has been previously identified as P. makarorae turns out to be P. tasmania and now P. angulospora
