Nice. https://fungi.com/products/full-spear-scalpel
I have found this ^ to be the my favorite scalpel. It's plenty sharp enough for delicate agar work but it won't cut you. The spear shape is nice and angled, makes dropping wedges easy (I've had problems with agar holding to Exacto knives and other thin blades).

I like the idea of that one mush. I use exacto knives but find the blades get wrecked and warped quickly from the torch and it comes loose all the time when heated so I have burned myself more than once tightening it in delicate situations.

I like my two piece scalpel cause the handle doesn't get hot as hell when I flame the blade. Do those one piece spear headed ones get hot on the handle when flame sterilizing? Might get one eventually if they don't.

How is the power and other lights connected to eachother? I think daisy chain is what I'm thinking of but...Is there a disconnection in your circuit somewhere or a bulb that's not screwed in all the way causing the electricity not to flow through the whole circuit?

I ordered the strip lights from amazon, they are dc and they didn’t come with an adapter. Found one in the electronics graveyard and it worked at first, then that happened. There was open wires on the other side so my husband cut the plug off and wired direct and is working now. I have no idea why.

Strip lights like that have contacts that run the length of the strip. You can power them from either direction. There are typically markings where you can cut the strips, at which point you would solder need expose the contacts and solder new wire leads to hook it up. Glad you got it working

Nice how much was that? I just used up my last sleeve of 25. What I'm paying in canada is kinda pricey though. I might order that ebay box of 1000 for $65 or whatever it was. Even with shipping to canada should be cheaper than what I'm paying.
Nice though! That will last a while

They don’t ship to Canada. I find that’s the biggest problem with most of those companies. Sometimes you luck out with bulk but not always.
What do you guys use for a hygrometer/temperature in your Martha or GH set up? I ordered one with probe but didn’t realize the humidity was in the room not from the sensor.

Man those filters are 9 years old XnMe. Always order your HEPA filters new where they are made after you order them like the other BIOMAX listings on ebay from zoro. Sucks to wait a few months for delivery but ideally you don't want some 10 year old filter. Not saying they won't work or anything, it's probably fine. Just not ideal.
