Finally had a 50+ grammer from this grow. Had a few that fell just short.
Tub 5 flush 2 pushed out a bunch of these big, beefy, dense wavy capped bastards.

This treasure coast variety has been putting out some pretty tall fat dense fruits but the biggest one was right around 45 grams
Hoping the clones I took will put out some fatties. Either way I like the treasure coasts its nice. Waht variety is that?

Playing around with some backlighting to look at agar plates. Very new to pouring my own dishes (I blame Pasty and other no-pourers :P). I think there's potential for backlighting to assist in identifying strong mycelium for transfer and isolation, and it's just cool to look at in general
The hopefully fun one! I think this is pretty clean - the dark at 7 is likely just agar from the xfer - i'm still working on technique~
Now the not so fun one. I always thought his was the result of temps and agar not setting properly, but I'm thinking it's bacterial contam now. Is that correct?

I would say bacteria. My first dishes had that too due to me being a shakey nervous noob. Give it some time to grow and find a clean spot and transfer that away
(wait for other answers by more experienced growers to be sure)

If you scroll down here, it looks like "baccilus bacteria contamination" picture
But yeah I always thought it was bacteria I had several plates go like that recently when I did some clone work.

I saw this post recently and remembered it figured it's worth sharing

Spot on with the link mate, thanks. Funny - I was actually reading that thread yesterday but missed that image. It's actually labeled Yeast Contamination on LME(Light Malt Extract) agar, which makes sense I suppose. Not sure of the exact cause still, which is worrisome as it happens to quite a few of my plates . Too high nutes maybe? I'm at 10g 10g 500ml on average, sometimes 8g on the LME. Maybe pouring at wrong temp (tho this happened to no-pour dishes too).

I beleive that's the one below it, the labels seem to be on the top of the images
