Pan Cyan disaster

Been years since I've visited the Shroomery but here I am. Well to the point. Joe has Been working with Pans (Hawaiian) for a while with no results. Inoculation goes like clock work with WBS using LC Isolate. Usually shake the jars once at the beginning and another time at 60%. The move to mix with 50/50,horse poo,verm with 5% gypsum. By the time the mycelium recovers it seems to never cover the poo at all. The birdseed mycelium regenerates but will not touch the poo/verm substrate. Seems like it is just to weak to colonize anything else. I think he may be shaking too much causing mycelium to get weak but not sure, because there is sooo much conflicting info. on the net.He bought his poo from shroomsupply.com trying to support the shroomery. You would think their poo would be good. Any suggestions? Joe is a cube expert but was trying to upgrade his hobby. Sorry no pictures. Joe is getting old and is a paranoid old-fart and went crazy when I told him it would be best if we sent pics.

I have mostly grown on poo from shroom suppy. It works fine. Try a ratio of 1:4 grain to substrate. Your substrate
need straw.
